Ethiopian Chamber Vice President Engages in High-Level Trade and Business Discussions in Sri Lanka

Dr. Aynalem Abayneh Mamo, Vice President of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA), has concluded a series of high-level bilateral discussions in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He arrived on 30 August 2026 to participate in the Gem City Ratnapura 2026 exhibition. During his visit, he met with Mr. Shiran Fernando, CEO of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, to discuss formalizing private-sector cooperation, including plans for a Memorandum of Understanding and a joint business council. He also met with Mr. Erandika Dissanayake, Director General of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board, to discuss joint strategic plans for trade and investment.
