Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested eight suspects and recovered firearms and suspected illicit drugs during a raid. The arrests were made following an investigation into an attempted murder reported at the command headquarters on September 3, 2026. The suspects, identified as Evans Adamda, Mamatime Michael, Wale Morakinyo, Anabono Godspower, Theophilus Philip, Robinson Oghenewiro, and Inoni Ejiroghene, were taken into custody by the Violent Crime Response Unit. Items recovered include three locally made pistols, Tramadol, and other suspected illicit drugs.
