The Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun, has arrested 53 suspects in connection with kidnapping, robbery, cultism, illegal immigration, and other offenses. Among those arrested are 21 foreign nationals who were found in two rented apartments in Owo. The state commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, stated that the foreigners claimed to have entered Nigeria for menial jobs and phone repairs but lacked proper ECOWAS documentation. Adeleye also warned landlords against harboring suspects.
