The Helicopter Engineering Wing of the Kenya Defence Forces recently concluded a three-week Flight Technicians Course. The course, which ran from August to September 2026, was officially closed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Samuel K. Macharia. It brought together Class One Technicians from various trades, including Airframe and Engines, Electrical and Instrumentation, and Radio/Radar. The training focused on enhancing technical competence, leadership skills, and professional understanding of flight technician responsibilities, covering areas such as fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and crew resource management.
