The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticized the federal government's social intervention programme following an Auditor-General's report that N33.75 billion in cash transfers to 3.29 million households could not be verified. In a statement, ADC's National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, described the situation as an organized racket, not mismanagement. The party also referenced previous controversies, including N585 million wired to a private account and N44 billion missing from the National Social Investment Programme Agency.
