The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has mopped up 7,210 regulated products during a nationwide surveillance exercise. The agency's Director General stated that the exercise covered 6,233 facilities across food and water, drugs and herbals, and cosmetics and chemicals regulatory areas. The operation aimed to remove substandard and unregistered products from the market to protect public health. NAFDAC reiterated its commitment to enforcing regulatory standards.
