The Ondo State Security Network Agency, also known as the Amotekun Corps, has arrested 53 suspects in connection with various crimes including kidnapping, murder, cultism, robbery, rape, and suspected illegal immigration. Corps Commander Adetunji Adeleye paraded the suspects in Akure on Monday, attributing the arrests to intensified intelligence gathering and coordinated operations over the past two weeks. The corps also rescued two kidnapped victims in the Akoko area during an operation with Fulani farmers and herders, with one victim reportedly wounded by abductors and receiving medical attention.
