Former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has threatened to file a N10 billion lawsuit against the Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, over alleged defamatory statements made on Channels Television. The legal action is in response to comments made by the minister that El-Rufai considers damaging to his reputation. The former governor's legal team has issued a formal notice, demanding a retraction and an apology, failing which the suit will be instituted in a competent court of law.
