Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has approved the appointment of Alhaji Aminu Atiku as the 21st Emir of Zurmi. The announcement was made on Monday by the Secretary to the Zamfara State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammad Nakwada, who stated that the appointment followed due process. The new emir, who will be known as Sarkin Zamfaran Zurmi, is expected to assume his traditional responsibilities in the state.
