Vice President Kashim Shettima has called on transport operators supporting President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid to ensure their political activities remain peaceful, responsible, and issue-focused. He made the remarks during the inauguration of the national working committee and nationwide structures of Transporters for Tinubu/Shettima 2027 at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Represented by the Chief of Staff to the President, Senator Ibrahim Hadeija, Shettima urged transporters to use their networks to promote national cohesion and counter misinformation. The group has set a target of 20 million votes for the Tinubu-Shettima ticket.
