Transcorp Power Plc Appoints Maryam Bala Shehu to Its Board of Directors

Transcorp Power Plc, a subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, has appointed Mrs. Maryam Bala Shehu as an Independent Non-Executive Director on its Board, effective September 1, 2026. The appointment will be ratified at the next Annual General Meeting. Mrs. Shehu is a senior executive with nearly three decades of experience in the energy sector, including over two decades in senior leadership roles within TotalEnergies S.A. E&P subsidiaries in Nigeria and a secondment to Nigeria LNG Limited. Her career at TotalEnergies spanned finance, economics, gas commercial operations, and enterprise administration.
