Hub operators, startup founders, investors, and other stakeholders gathered at CcHub in Lagos for a technical validation workshop on the National Innovation Hubs Standard Framework. The initiative, by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) through the Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation, was convened by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy. The Framework aims to establish a common national approach to identifying, classifying, and ensuring quality of innovation hubs across the country. It assesses hubs across seven areas, including governance, infrastructure, and sustainability. The Lagos workshop had over 60 participants and followed a similar engagement in Abuja.
