Confusion has arisen over election petitions displayed at the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Osogbo, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) denied filing any petition against Governor Ademola Adeleke's re-election. The tribunal displayed two petitions purportedly from the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), challenging the August 15 governorship election outcome. The petitions, dated September 5, 2026, were pasted on the tribunal's notice board. The tribunal's secretary, Pefe Belemore, confirmed that petitions challenging the election had been filed.
