The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to introduce a real-time readiness tracker to monitor election preparations across Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. Chairman Prof. Joash Amupitan announced the initiative during a two-day Strategic Operational Workshop for Administrative Secretaries in Lagos. The tracker will be based on a standardized Excel template linked to the Commission's Election Monitoring and Support Centre dashboard and the Election Project Plan. Amupitan stated that the innovation aims to replace reactive panic with proactive management in election logistics.
