The Kano State Multi-Agency Taskforce on Drug Abuse and Trafficking has uncovered a new trend of substance abuse among minors. The taskforce chairman, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado, confirmed that 43 minors were arrested for various offences including substance abuse and theft. Two adults were also convicted to nine years imprisonment each for recruiting minors into drug abuse and other crimes.
