‘It’s not easy’ – Maresca agrees with Haaland that players started season tired

Maresca's comments came in response to remarks made by striker Erling Haaland on his YouTube channel, where the Norwegian expressed that he started the season without a proper pre-season following Norway's run to the World Cup quarterfinals. Haaland, who has scored three goals in three league matches, noted that while his physical condition will improve if he stays injury-free, maintaining mental sharpness has been difficult. Maresca agreed with Haaland's assessment, stating that it is correct that such players are beginning to feel tired.
