An International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) expert, Dr. Terez Sera, has identified gaps in Nigeria's nuclear medicine practice that need addressing to improve patient care. Speaking at a regional training course in Abuja, Sera noted that the program would help Nigerian practitioners evaluate their practices and identify areas for improvement. The training, organized by the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment (NICRAT) in collaboration with the IAEA, is part of Nigeria's request for an expert mission. Sera emphasized the importance of quality assurance in nuclear medicine.
