The Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIoD Nigeria) has launched its Chartered Director Certification (ChDC) programme to enhance professional directorship standards. Successful candidates will receive the Chartered Director designation and use the suffix 'Ch.Dir.' The programme follows the institute's chartered status under the 2023 Act. CIoD President Adetunji Oyebanji stated that the programme strengthens professional directorship and corporate governance, emphasizing that experience alone is no longer sufficient.
