NSPRI to make ‘catch them young’ initiative, teachers’ training on post-harvest management a national programme

The Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI) plans to expand its 'catch them young' initiative and teachers' training on post-harvest management into a national programme. Executive Director Professor Lateef Sanni announced this during the closing ceremony of the 2026 post-harvest loss reduction event. The programme aims to educate young people and teachers on proper storage techniques to reduce losses.
