Nigeria's Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) market saw its strongest recovery in months in July 2026, with total daily supply rising to 5.332 kilotonnes per day from 5.164 KT/D in June. Domestic sources delivered 4.373 KT/D, accounting for 82.0% of total supply, while imports contributed 0.958 KT/D (18.0%). The NLNG/SEPNU consortium led with 2.031 KT/D (38.1%), followed by Dangote Refinery at 0.829 KT/D (15.5%) and other domestic plants at 1.513 KT/D (28.4%). Retail prices fell by nearly 30% in key cities, and local supply exceeded the 3.9 KT/D consumption benchmark.
