Giants of Africa Makes International Debut at Adidas X Alba Next UP Women’s Tournament in Berlin

Giants of Africa (GOA), a non-profit organization founded by Masai Ujiri, made its European debut at the adidas x ALBA Next Up Women's Basketball Tournament in Berlin, Germany, from September 3 to 6. The tournament brought together eight teams from around the world, including GOA, which fielded a team of eight young women from Ethiopia, Gabon, Nigeria, Senegal, and Tanzania, all alumni of the Giants of Africa Festival. The delegation was supported by coaches Melissa Diawakana and Adetokunbo Ijomah, with assistance from Geraldine Robert. This participation marks a significant step in GOA's mission to empower youth through basketball.
