Former Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) chairman Mohammed Mamman Nami has confirmed his candidacy for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State. Meanwhile, former Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar Adamu has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Nasarawa State, following the resignation of Musa Adamu Angba. Adamu had previously contested the APC ticket and lost to Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada before defecting to the SDP. Nami, in a video released on Sunday, said he is prepared to contest against the incumbent governor.
