Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has demanded N10 billion in compensation and a public apology from Defence Minister Christopher Musa over alleged defamatory statements. In a letter dated September 7, El-Rufai's lawyer accused Musa of claiming that El-Rufai planned killings and divided Kaduna along ethnic and religious lines during his tenure. The demand includes a retraction in two national newspapers, with legal action threatened if not met.
