The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Central Zone has rejected calls to revoke pipeline surveillance contracts awarded to Seven Oceans Oil and Gas Ltd., Kojo Sam Logistics Ltd., and Labrador Security Outfit. In response to a publication by Kelly Nengimote, the IYC defended the contracts, stating they are vital for Niger Delta security and economic interests. The council condemned attempts to undermine Ijaw-owned enterprises without credible evidence.
