Sokoto State Government has awarded contracts for 1,365 kilometers of rural roads across all 23 local government areas, with an additional 530 kilometers planned under Governor Ahmed Aliyu's administration. Special Adviser Malami Galadanchi Bajare announced that the roads are at various stages of completion, including asphalt, surface-dressed, and feeder roads. The projects aim to improve access to farms, schools, and hospitals in rural communities.
