Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has filed a N10bn defamation lawsuit against Defence Minister Christopher Musa. The suit stems from alleged defamatory statements made on Channels TV. El-Rufai is demanding an apology and damages. The Jam'iyyatu Nasril Islam (JNI) and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) have called for restraint in the matter.
