Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has banned night arrests across the state, warning security operatives to desist from invading homes under the cover of darkness. The governor gave the order while addressing first-class chiefs at the Government House in Lokoja. He declared that no arrests should be made at night and that due process must be followed during daytime. Ododo emphasized that the ban is necessary to protect citizens' dignity and fundamental rights.
