Tinubu’s reforms push reserves to $54.13bn — O’tega Ogra

Nigeria's gross foreign exchange reserves have risen to $54.13 billion, the second-highest level on record, according to O'tega Ogra, Senior Adviser on Digital and New Media to President Bola Tinubu. Ogra disclosed this in a post on his X handle, citing data from the Central Bank of Nigeria. He noted that the current level is second only to the $62.08 billion recorded in September 2008. He listed Nigeria's ten highest foreign reserve peaks since 1999, with the latest figure ranking second.
