The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has clarified that the Federal Government is not charging extra fees for the special passport intervention in the United Kingdom. In a statement, he noted that the exercise provides more options for Nigerians in the UK and does not incur additional costs beyond the official fees of $150 and $230 for five-year and ten-year passports, respectively. The ministry and Nigeria Immigration Service have not introduced any other charges.
