The Director-General of the Plateau State Drug and Medical Commodity Management Agency, Kim Jerry Bot, confirmed the intervention is ongoing at Jos University Teaching Hospital and Plateau State Specialist Hospital. The state government acted swiftly following reports of the outbreak, with the Commissioner for Health coordinating the response to contain the disease.
