Tinubu working to reduce cost of transportation – Shettima

Vice President Kashim Shettima has stated that President Bola Tinubu is committed to prioritizing transportation infrastructure to ease operations for transporters. Speaking at the inauguration of the National Working Committee of the National Structure of Transporters for Tinubu/Shettima 2027 in Abuja, Shettima emphasized that the administration views connectivity as an economic necessity and is working to reduce the cost of movement. He was represented by Sen. Ibrahim Hadeija, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, and noted that transport workers are essential connectors of communities and ambassadors of the nation. Shettima stressed that the transportation industry is central to economic growth.
