The Head of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Anita Kiki Gbeho, visited the Khor Malang resettlement site near Wau in Western Bahr El Ghazal, where displaced families have found new homes after spending over a decade in camps. The site was developed through a partnership involving the government, UN Mine Action Service, other UN agencies, and UNMISS, with funding from the Government of Norway. Residents, including women's representative Mama Juliet Edward Zamoi, shared how the new settlement has improved their living conditions and provided space for community life.
