‘I didn’t file any petition against Adeleke’ — Osun PDP candidate

Adebayo Adedamola, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the August 15 Osun State election, has denied filing any petition challenging Governor Ademola Adeleke's victory. He stated that neither he nor his counsel authorized the case, which was reportedly displayed at the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Osogbo. The petition, marked EPT/OS/GOV/02/2026, was filed in his name against Adeleke, INEC, and the Accord Party. Adedamola expressed ignorance of the petition and said he had not instructed his lawyers to challenge the election result.
