Abel Manumbu, Founder and Managing Director of UR Energy Limited, has been confirmed as a speaker at the African Mining Week (AMW) 2026 conference, scheduled for October 14-16 in Cape Town. Manumbu will participate in a panel discussion on 'Enabling Africa's Value Addition Corridors,' sponsored by the Africa Finance Corporation. The session will examine how reliable energy infrastructure can support mineral processing hubs and downstream manufacturing investment across Africa. UR Energy is advancing power projects across Southern and Eastern Africa, including the 75 MW AZA gas-to-power project in Malawi, which aims to strengthen electricity supply for mineral developments in the region.
