Rugby Africa announced that its President, Herbert Mensah, has accepted an invitation to speak at the Global Africa Business Initiative (GABI) 'Unstoppable Africa 2026' event, taking place in New York City on September 20-21, 2026, alongside the 81st United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week. Mensah, who also serves as an Executive Board Member of World Rugby and Chairman of World Rugby Regions, will participate in a session titled 'Real Value from the Field: Protecting and Profiting from Africa's Talent Pipeline.' The discussion will focus on how transparent contracts, smarter scouting, and stronger regional leagues can help Africa retain more value from its sporting talent.
