Lecturers at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) have commenced an indefinite strike over incomplete August 2026 salary payments. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) UNIZIK branch is demanding full payment of salaries and has urged President Bola Tinubu to intervene. The strike action is expected to disrupt academic activities at the institution until the demands are met.
