The State Department for Foreign Affairs has initiated a review of its Staff Wellness Policy through a retreat involving officials and staff. The review aims to assess the existing policy framework, examine emerging workplace and psychosocial challenges, and identify practical measures to strengthen support for employees at Headquarters and Kenyan missions abroad. Caroline Imbayi, Deputy Head of Department for Staff Wellness and Welfare, opened the retreat and called for an inclusive review based on staff experiences to develop a comprehensive and responsive policy. She emphasized the goal of contributing to a healthier, happier, and more productive workforce.
