Troops of the Nigerian Army under Operation HADIN KAI, supported by the Nigerian Air Force and the Civilian Joint Task Force, repelled a coordinated attack by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Pulka Community, Gwoza local government area of Borno State. The troops denied the terrorists the opportunity to breach their positions and recovered arms and ammunition. The encounter was disclosed in a statement by Captain Mohammed Goni, Acting Media Information Officer of the Joint Task Force North East.
