One feared dead as rainstorm destroys roofs, walls in Anambra

A commercial tricycle operator is feared dead after a rainstorm wreaked havoc across parts of Anambra State, destroying roofs and walls of several buildings. The heavy downpour flooded roads and created gullies in erosion-prone areas. The operator was reportedly swept away in Awka while attempting to rescue a woman, and his body was later found. In Nawfia, strong winds ripped off the roof of a filling station.
