Akwa Ibom records lowest investment income in South-south despite extensive holdings

Akwa Ibom State recorded the lowest investment income in the South-south region in 2025, earning only N249.23 million despite holding a large portfolio of state-owned investments, including Ibom Air. In comparison, Delta State earned N18.29 billion and Edo State N11.07 billion in investment income during the same period.
