Peter Onwubuariri, a senior staff member of the State House serving as Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations, died on Monday in Kano at the age of 48 after a protracted illness. He had been receiving treatment at the Kano Cancer Centre for about a month under the state government's treatment authorization. His remains were released from Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital for burial in Owerri, Imo State, and were formally handed over to Deputy Director Oche Echeija Egwa on behalf of Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga.
