The Federal Government has announced plans to train one million in-service teachers under its Accelerated Teacher Professional Programme. Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, stated this during a meeting with the new UNESCO Country Representative to Nigeria. The programme aims to improve teaching quality and learning outcomes across the country.
