Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has dissolved the Governing Board of the Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission following the expiration of its tenure. The dissolution takes effect from September 18, 2026, according to a statement from the Secretary to the State Government. Members whose tenure has not expired will remain until the commission is reconstituted.
