The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has urged vice-chancellors of Nigeria's public universities to diversify their funding sources or risk stagnation. He expressed concern that only four out of 68 federal universities are effectively utilizing alternative funding opportunities such as research grants, endowments, alumni donations, and industry partnerships.
