The Ekiti State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has struck out the petition filed by Dr. Wole Oluyede of the PDP against Governor Biodun Oyebanji's re-election. The tribunal, led by Justice Abubakar Idris Kutigi, struck out the petition after Oluyede's counsel moved a motion for withdrawal. The motion was not opposed by the respondents' counsels, leading to the dismissal of the case.
