The Federal High Court in Abuja has scheduled September 21 to hear a petition seeking the winding up of NICON Insurance Limited following the cancellation of its operating licence. Justice Chigozie Onah ordered that the company's assets, properties, investments, and bank accounts be preserved from any disposition or dissipation pending the hearing. The petition was brought by the Receiver/Liquidator, Mr. Chukwuma-Machukwu Ume, SAN. The court's order aims to protect the interests of policyholders, creditors, and other stakeholders.
