A soldier sustained a gunshot wound to his left arm during a military operation that repelled an attack by ISWAP militants on a military base. The soldier's identity has not been disclosed, and he is currently receiving treatment. Mohammed Goni, spokesperson for Operation Hadin Kai, a joint task force in the North-east, confirmed the incident in a statement.
