The Benue State government has accused Peter Obi of seeking trouble following the disruption of his convoy during a visit to the state. Commissioner for Information Solomon Iorpev said Obi breached protocol by not formally notifying the government of his visit, which would have allowed for adequate security arrangements. Iorpev noted that as a former governor, Obi should have written a letter to the state government to ensure his safety.
