The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has called for a unified regulatory framework to boost technology investment across Africa. The agency noted that the convergence of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and high-density data centres, has made traditional siloed regulation inadequate. NITDA emphasized the need for harmonized policies to attract investment and foster innovation in the continent's tech sector.
