The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has apologised to its customers in Ogun, Oyo, and Kwara states over recent blackouts affecting Band A customers. The company cited technical faults and disconnections for non-payment as the reasons for the power outages. IBEDC expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and assured customers that efforts are being made to restore normal electricity supply.
